Previously he was a digital content editor at Haymarket Media, where he managed, edited and created content for Clinical Pain Advisor — a website dedicated to assisting healthcare professionals who specialize in treating and managing pain.
Before that he was an executive editor for Penton, a B2B publishing company that’s headquartered in New York City. He began working full-time at Penton, formerly known as Penton Media, in February 2013. Prior to that, he grew his reputation as a contributing editor with the company.
Before landing a gig with Penton, he was hired as a contributing writer for SocialTimes, where he covered technology, social media and gaming. He additionally contributed to several other Web-based publications during the same time frame.
Arlotta also worked in public relations under several elected officials in New York State at both the state and local levels.
He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and criminal justice from the State University of New York at Albany.
